我們是從1997年開始引進及繁殖"北美洲短尾貓"---"大腳板"。在美國華盛頓山區是牠們的家鄉.由一群 熱愛研究半野生貓種的愛好者將牠們的幼貓收集及家養。竟發現牠們都十分忠心乖巧。外型嚴如一 頭小山貓亦十分獨特可愛。家養的"大腳板"個性十分溫柔,在發情期亦甚少鳴叫;不愛往高處攀爬是牠的另一大 優點。
看過牠們的照片,您大既都會發現到牠們與別不同的高後腿與及短背、粗骨略等特點;最特別的,絕對是牠 們大都長有多一兩隻小指頭,喜歡運用前肢取物的特性;還有,牠們的樣子亦會 隨著成熟而改變,最明顯的就是一雙眼晴會變得深陷;鼻樑亦日益變得長而粗,一般在牠們三歲時便會完全展現 牠們成熟的豐采!
We are the first cattery import & breed "Pixie-bob"--The "Big Foot" in Hong Kong. Their origin is in the mountains if Washington, USA. A group of Bobcat fans collected the kittens & domesticated them. They found that most of Pixie-bobs were loyal & sweet! Their character is Quiet & behave themselves.
You'll found that, Pixie-bob's figure is like a Bobcat -- shot-backed & high on hide legs. They will mature as late as they are 3-year-old. You will see their changes such as their eyes will get higher, &, noses set lower & thicker as they mature.
